Barry is a graduate of Guilford Technical Community College with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and Guilford College with a BS in Business Management.
This gives him a background in engineering with an understanding of the business aspects of home investment. Before starting his home inspection business he sold semiconductors for over 30 years, then he got his real estate license where he helped his wife (Karen Wishon @Raleigh Custom Realty) with numerous transactions, mostly handling the repair/inspection requests. He found that given his technical background and experience with personal home purchasing, building and renovation that home inspection was a natural fit.
